Casa Mar Azul in Playacar Phase 1, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico Casa Mar Azul is located in Playacar Phase 1, only 100 yards from the beach. Playacar Phase 1 is a secure, residential community located just south of the ferry dock to Cozumel and between the beach and 10th avenue in Playa del Carmen. Some of the most gorgeous private homes in Playa del Carmen are in Playacar Phase 1.

DESCRIPTION

Casa Mar Azul, which in Spanish means "Blue Sea," is an attractive single family home with a charming, traditional spanish tile roof set amid tropical greenery. Located just 100 yards (or a 1-2 minute walk) from the pure white sandy beach and yet without the premium rental rates of a beachfront home, this cute casita is perfect for a family or two couples. Awash in natural light and decorated with beachy-hued furnishings, this pleasant, unfussy home reflects the tranquil state of mind you'll be in when staying here.

Downstairs

The heart of this home is centered in the first floor. Walk through the front door into the ample living room, with its rustic wood furniture and comfortable cushions. The dining area's well-made wooden/rattan table provides seating for four. The fully equipped kitchen with plenty of counter space contains all you'll need to prepare meals and drinks: microwave, oven with stove, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, and more. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and sliding glass doors which lead to the patio and small garden. The second bedroom has two twin beds, which are easily pushed together to form a king sized bed. For your sleeping comfort, both bedrooms have newly-added air-conditioning units. The striking spiral staircase in the living area leads to the second floor.

Upstairs

Upstairs you'll find the second spacious and open living space, with lots of cozy rattan/cushion seating and a television. This room's multiple large windows let in plenty of sunlight and a glimpse through the trees of the Caribbean Sea. Sliding glass doors off the living room lead to an open-air terrace; with patio furniture and lounges, this is the perfect spot for private suntanning.
